Contra-indications
With any of the treatments offered at the Goldstone clinic
Contra-indications must always be taken into account.
Contra-indications are when the client has a medical condition that
may limit the treatment in some way. For example, a client may come
for a Reflexology treatment but have a verruca. In this case the
treatment is mildly limited by the need to put a small plaster on
the infected area and work around it, avoiding the area. Some
conditions may be preventative restricting treatment altogether,
such as infectious disorders. Some contra-indications may require a
doctor's permission before treatment. Fortunately the different
types of treatments offered for the most part have different
contra-indications, so if one treatment type is not suitable another
will be.

spaces at professional health centres and the Goldstone Clinic
